Portuguese Parliament elects Tiago Duarte, a constitutional expert and PLMJ partner, as member of the National Council for Ethics for Life Sciences

Tiago Duarte is a PLMJ partner, constitutional law expert and professor at the Faculty of Law of Universidade Nova de Lisboa. He has been elected by the Portuguese Parliament as a member of the National Council for Ethics for Life Sciences, whose current President is Professor João Lobo Antunes. Duarte will take office on 17 December before the President of the National Assembly.

PLMJ senior associate Paula Martinho da Silva was previously president of this Council and Tiago Duarte is the author of the book “Medically assisted reproduction in the Constitution and in the law”.
