Ana Coimbra Trigo

About Ana

Ana is a senior associate in the Dispute Resolution practice and has more than 10 years' experience. She regularly acts as counsel, arbitrator and tribunal secretary in international and domestic arbitrations (ICC, LCIA, CAC-CCIP and ad hoc proceedings). She also acts in related court proceedings and civil and commercial disputes, including post-M&A disputes, telecommunications, energy, aviation and real estate.

She is a member of the ICC International Court of Arbitration for Macau, a guest lecturer at NOVA School of Law, an academic tutor at the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb), and an ICFML Certified Mediator.

Ana is also deputy director of the Portuguese International Journal of Arbitration and Conciliation (RIAC), a member of the Under-40 Council of the Portuguese Arbitration Association (APA), a member of the Diversity Committee of the Commercial Arbitration Centre (CAC-CCIP) and of the Secretariat of the Lusophone Arbitration Club (CAL). She serves as co-chair of the Under-40 Committee of the Lusophone Association of Arbitration and Mediation.

She holds a law degree from the University of Coimbra, a master's degree in European and International Law from the China-EU School of Law, China University of Political Science and Law (Beijing), awarded by the University of Hamburg, and a PhD in law from NOVA School of Law.
