Vasco is a senior associate in the Intellectual Property practice.

With 10 years' professional experience, he advises clients in the areas of trademarks, copyright and unfair competition in a wide range of sectors and patents, mostly in the pharmaceutical sector.

He has also focused on litigation in the area of intellectual property, with an emphasis on court proceedings arising from the invocation of industrial property rights relating to medicines and trademark, copyright and unfair competition litigation.

Vasco also advises on mostly all types of transactions concerning intellectual property matters on various sectors and also specializes on various types of technology contracts. He has been an Official Industrial Property Agent since 2022. He has a master's degree in tax law from the Faculty of Law of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa in Lisbon and earned his law degree from the same faculty.

Before joining PLMJ, Vasco was a lawyer at Vieira de Almeida.
