About Maria Amélia

Maria Amélia is an associate in the European and Competition practice, advising clients in litigation matters related to restrictive competition practices, including administrative offence proceedings and private enforcement actions. She also advises on merger control matters, including the preparation and submission of merger notifications.

She completed the 17th Postgraduate Course in Competition and Regulation at the Institute for Economic, Financial and Tax Law of the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon. She holds a law degree from the Faculty of Law of the Portuguese Catholic University and an LL.M. in Law and Technology from Tilburg University, the Netherlands.
