Hugo Rosa Ferreira at the IFLR Africa Forum in London

PLMJ banking and finance partner Hugo Rosa Ferreira, has attended a meeting organised by the IFLR- International Financial Law Review Africa Forum in London. The meeting in London was attended by specialist in the African market and the debates covered topics including sovereign debt issuance in Angola and Mozambique, the obstacles to foreign investment in those countries and the validity, effectiveness and enforceability of local guarantees.

The debate also covered the need to develop infrastructures to boost exports to these countries, as well as the priority areas for new projects including infrastructure, energy, natural, agriculture and tourism. Growing interest in the South African market was another item on the agenda.
