The new voluntary arbitration law is the subject of another major initiative in the series of conferences organised by PLMJ: "The Law in Perspective". The conference will take place in the Loulé town hall on 22 June and is being held together with the Faro District Council Bar Association and Loulé delegation. PLMJ lawyers José Miguel Júdice  (partner and head of PLMJ’s arbitration practice),  Manuel Cavaleiro Brandão,  Pedro Metello de Nápoles and Tiago Duarte (partners in the arbitration practice),  Filipa Cansado Carvalho and Carmen Baptista Rosa (senior associates in PLMJ’s arbitration practice),  Carla Góis Coelho and Cristina Vasconcelos Afonso (associates in PLMJ’s arbitration practice) and Nuno da Cunha Barnabé, (partner in PLMJ’s tax practice and  member of the list of tax arbitrators) are all involved and will take part in the conference. The four panel discussions will be moderated by the Chairman of the Faro District Bar Association, José Leiria, by former presidents António Cabrita and Valerio Bexiga and by Evora’s Magistrate, Eduardo Tenazinha. The main changes and the implementation and impact of the new arbitration law are central themes of this conference between lawyers, members of important arbitration institutions and representatives of the Bar Association. Do not miss another great PLMJ and Bar Association initiative.
