PLMJ advises on Morgan Stanley and Fundo Horizon’s acquisition of MEO’s telecommunications towers

PLMJ provided legal support in Portugal in the sale by Altice of MEO’s telecommunications towers to a Consortium made up of Morgan Stanley Infrastructures and Fundo Horizon for EUR 660 million. The PLMJ team that represented the “joint venture” was headed by Diogo Perestrelo, a partner from PLMJ Corporate / M&A, and it included five other partners:

  • Tiago Mendonça de Castro, the partner who heads PLMJ Real Estate
  • André Figueiredo, the partner who heads PLMJ Capital Markets 
  • Miguel Reis, a partner from PLMJ Tax
  • Sara Estima Martins, a partner from PLMJ European Law and Competition
  • João Velez de Lima, a partner from PLMJ Tax

The remaining members of PLMJ’s team were:

  • Elsa Pizarro Pardal, of counsel PLMJ Corporate / M&A
  • Jorge Silva Martins, a managing associate from PLMJ TMT
