PLMJ is the Portuguese leader in the Rising Stars Awards Europe 2020

PLMJ won three awards at the Rising Stars Awards Europe 2021 and it is the Portuguese law firm with the most awards this year. João Marques Mendes, the partner who heads PLMJ's Energy practice, was named a Rising Star Portugal in the area of energy and natural resources, and Carla Góis Coelho, a partner in PLMJ's Dispute Resolution practice, was named a Rising Star in the area of litigation.

The event is organised by the Euromoney Legal Media Group and selects young lawyers in 28 practice areas and 33 jurisdictions who stand out in the group's directories - IFLR1000, Expert Guides, Benchmark Litigation, World Tax and IP Stars - based on information from peers and clients.
