The two new PLMJ partners are Pedro Lomba (Public Law and Healthcare, Life Sciences and Pharmaceuticals) and Raquel Azevedo (Banking and Finance). The 6 new managing associates are João Bravo da Costa (Angola Desk), João Dias Lopes (Banking and Finance), Joana Brandão (Public Law), Mafalda Moreira (Tax and Family Wealth, in Porto), Nuno Miguel Lourenço (Dispute Resolution) and Rita Albuquerque (Corporate M&A).

With 57 partners, 28 managing associates and 48 senior associates, out of a total of around 300 lawyers, PLMJ continues to focus on the quality of the services it provides to its clients and on the seniority of its team.

"The appointment of these new partners and managing associates reflects a very successful year. It is also recognition of the professional merits, and the technical and human qualities of our lawyers. These lawyers create daring legal solutions and they are truly transformative legal experts", says PLMJ managing partner, Luís Pais Antunes.

At the beginning of 2019, PLMJ moved to its new headquarters in Avenida Fontes Pereira de Melo, Lisbon. It also launched a renewed visual identity to reflect the strengthening of the firm's position in the legal market.
