According to Tomás Timbane, the partner who heads TTA “it is a great source of pride to receive honourable mentions and nominations at the African Legal Awards, which recognise the work we have been doing. For Mozambique in general and investors in particular, having a local firm that is recognised every year is a sign that we are following the right path and, for this reason, the country and our clients can continue to place their trust in us.”
GLA was shortlisted for the African Law Firm of the Year - Small Practice award, and in the categories of Banking, Finance and Restructuring Team of the Year, Litigation and Dispute Resolution Team of the Year, “Employment Law Team of the Year, “Property and Construction Team of the Year and Transportation and Infrastructure Team of the Year.
For Bruno Xavier de Pina, the partner who heads the Angola Desk “having been nominated once again in so many categories represents international recognition of our work, and this is reflected in the trust our clients continue to place in us. Although it is not “the” purpose of our work, it is obviously a great source of motivation for the lawyers and staff at the firm. It also brings greater responsibility, but one we are very happy to take on.”
