PLMJ maintains its leading position in Chambers Global 2026, with all practice areas ranked in Band 1

PLMJ is ranked in Band 1 in all categories.

Once again, PLMJ has been recognised by Chambers Global 2026 as Band 1 in all analysed areas, with 25 individual rankings and six rises this year.

These results are a source of great pride for our teams and show that the market sees PLMJ as a trusted legal partner for its clients.

The areas in which PLMJ is ranked Band 1 by Chambers Global are Corporate M&A, Banking and Finance, Capital Markets, Dispute Resolution and Projects.

In the individual rankings, PLMJ received 25 nominations. Notable highlights include the rise of managing partner Bruno Ferreira to Eminent Practitioner (Banking & Finance), partner Nuno Líbano Monteiro to Senior Statesperson, and partner André Figueiredo to Band 1 (Banking and Finance).

In General Business Law: International Firms (Foreign Expertise Based Abroad), the international partnerships of PLMJ and PLMJ Colab Angola – RVA Advogados were recognised for their work in Angola and Mozambique. The lawyers leading the work in these jurisdictions also singled out: partners Renata Valenti (Angola), Rúben Brigolas (Angola) and Gonçalo dos Reis Martins (Angola and Mozambique).

The Chambers Europe 2026 results will also be announced shortly. This edition covers more than 20 practice areas, including those featured in this first phase, with a particular focus on international transactions or those involving international clients.
