PLMJ is organising the 'Digital Infrastructure Conference: Regulation and Power'. Supported by Almedina Academy, this initiative encourages reflection on the central role of digital infrastructure and artificial intelligence models in the economy, public services, security, and global governance.
The conference will bring together academics, regulators, and industry representatives to discuss the key legal, regulatory, economic, and geopolitical challenges associated with the digital ecosystem.
Issues such as competition, technological sovereignty, investment, the concentration of power, infrastructure resilience and security will be discussed over the course of two days. The aim is to strike a balance between innovation and technological development, and the protection of democratic values.
Further information on the programme will follow shortly. Find out more here.
