Pedro Lomba is a speaker at conference series for the 50th anniversary of the Constitution and the 100th anniversary of the Bar Association

Pedro Lomba will be speaking at a series of conferences dedicated to the theme of 'Contemporary Reflections on the Constitution and the Rule of Law'.

Organised by the Lisbon Regional Council of the Bar Association, the series forms part of the celebrations marking the 50th anniversary of the Constitution of the Portuguese Republic and the 100th anniversary of the Bar Association.

As the head of the Technology, Media and Telecommunications practice, Pedro will lead the panel on 'Constitutional responses to emerging challenges'. This panel will address topics such as metadata, workplace surveillance, social relations, and freedom of expression, among others.

Taking place in the Great Hall of the Supreme Court of Justice in Lisbon's Praça do Comércio, the event will bring together experts to reflect on the contemporary challenges facing constitutionalism and the rule of law.
