Rita Samoreno Gomes to speak at 'The UK Class Actions Forum – 6th Annual'

The partner will be in London for the sixth edition of the forum.

Rita Samoreno Gomes will be speaking at the 6th Annual European Class Actions Forum, organised by ThoughtLeaders4 Disputes.

As co-head of the Dispute Resolution practice, the partner will contribute to the panel ‘Examining Class Action Cases with Cross-Border Elements’. This session will address the jurisdictional and procedural challenges of multinational class actions, the relationship between the collective redress regimes of the European Union and the United States, and the enforcement of judgments and settlements across borders.

Against a backdrop of growing momentum in class actions in the UK, the forum will bring together leading experts to analyse the sector's emerging challenges and opportunities.
