Rita de Sousa Costa is a speaker at the “10 Years of the GDPR” event

The event is taking place in the Grand Hall of the Bar Association in Lisbon.

Rita de Sousa Costa will be taking part in the Bar Association’s commemorative conference.

As part of the panel on 'The GDPR in Sensitive Sectors', the senior associate in the Technology, Media and Telecommunications practice will deliver a detailed analysis of the topic 'The GDPR and the Media'.

The General Council of the Portuguese Bar Association is organising this event through the Sub-Committee on Information Technology and Robotics. Bringing together experts from various fields, it will reflect on a decade of the GDPR and analyse its practical application in sectors such as healthcare, the media, and the legal profession. There will also be a discussion about the future of data protection in an artificial intelligence-shaped context.
