About Gonçalo

Gonçalo is an associate in the Dispute Resolution practice and has 5 years' experience. He advises clients on corporate and financial disputes, including distressed M&A, directors' liability, the enforcement of guarantees, loan recovery and legal due diligence in transactions involving the transfer of non-performing loans.
 
He is a visiting lecturer in civil procedure and a researcher at the Research Centre for Private Law of the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon. He also holds a law degree and a master's degree in law, specialising in banking and insurance law, from the same faculty, as well as a postgraduate qualification in banking law from the Research Centre.
