About Margarida

Margarida is a senior associate in the Dispute Resolution practice and she has five years' professional experience advising clients in criminal litigation and compliance cases.

With experience in criminal litigation and administrative and court proceedings, her clients come from a range of sectors. These include telecommunications, banking and financial institutions, energy and natural resources, transport and logistics and industrial production. Margarida also provided advisory and compliance services to companies in the field of prevention of corruption, money laundering and terrorism financing, and international restrictive measures.

Margarida has a master's in law and legal sciences - specialising in criminal law and criminal sciences, and she completed a postgraduate course in enforcement, compliance and criminal law in banking, financial and economic activities at the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon.

She is a member of Fórum Penal, an association of criminal lawyers.
