About Rita
Rita is an associate in the Corporate M&A practice where she advises Portuguese and international clients on transactions in various sectors. She also provides regular advice on issues of commercial contracts, negotiations of trade agreements and general legal advice in the area of corporate law.
Rita has a master’s in tax law from the Faculty of Law of Universidade Católica Portuguesa and she is currently attending a postgraduate course in energy law at the same faculty.
She began her career at PLMJ in 2016 and returned to the firm in 2020 after working as a specialist in the Office of the Undersecretary of State and of Tax Affairs in the 22nd Constitutional Government.
