About Manuel

Manuel is a managing associate in the Corporate M&A practice and also specialises in restructuring and insolvency. He has more than 10 years' experience.

He focuses on structuring and negotiating M&A transactions, as well as advising on in-court and out-of-court corporate and financial restructurings. He also has experience in bank resolution cases and the winding-up of credit institutions. Manuel's clients include fund management companies and collective investment undertakings, as well as companies and corporate groups.

He holds a master's degree in business law from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon and completed the 16th postgraduate course in securities law at the Securities Institute.

Manuel also completed an advanced postgraduate course in M&A and corporate litigation at the Research Centre for Private Law of the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon.
