About Rafaela

Rafaela is of counsel in the Tax practice. She specialises in corporate income tax, indirect taxes, property taxes and income taxes, particularly in providing legal support for transactions on behalf of Portuguese and international clients.

She has a degree in law from the University of Coimbra. She also holds a postgraduate degree in taxation from the Universidade Católica Portuguesa Faculty of Law. She has also completed the coursework for a Master's degree in law and management, specialising in taxation.

Prior to joining PLMJ, Rafaela was a senior consultant in the International Tax and Transactions department at EY Portugal.
