About Rúben

Rúben is a senior associate in the Healthcare, Life Sciences & Pharmaceuticals practice and has more than 5 years' experience. He focuses on advising Portuguese and multinational companies involved in the manufacture, distribution and retail sale of pharmaceuticals, medical devices, food supplements, cosmetics and personal care products.

He advises on a wide range of matters, including legislative procedures, licensing, compliance, advertising, pricing and co-payments, contracts and market access. He also has experience in administrative litigation in the pharmaceutical and healthcare sector, as well as general administrative litigation.

Rúben holds a law degree from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon and a master's degree in legal and political studies, specialising in administrative law, from the same faculty.

He also attended postgraduate courses in economic and social investment law, administrative and tax litigation, and pharmaceutical law, all at the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon.

In 2017, Rúben was an assistant in the office of the Secretary of State for the Presidency of the Council of Ministers in the 21st Constitutional Government.
