Rita Aleixo Gregório

About Rita

Rita is a partner in the EU and Competition Law practice and has more than 20 years' experience.

Her practice focuses on advising public and private clients on state aid, cartels and other restrictive practices. She also has extensive experience in internal investigations and audits, competition training and compliance programmes.

With particular expertise in the civil aviation, distribution, energy, financial and waste management sectors, Rita represents clients before the Competition Authority, the European Commission and national and European courts.

Before joining PLMJ, Rita was a managing associate at VdA and a member of the Competition Authority's Restrictive Practices Unit.

Rita holds an LL.M. from King's College London, specialising in competition law. She also completed postgraduate studies in economics for competition law at King's College London and holds postgraduate qualifications in competition and regulation and in consumer law, both from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon.
