Ricardo Silva Pereira

About Ricardo
Ricardo is a senior counsel in the Dispute Resolution practice and has 15 years' experience.
He focuses on civil and commercial litigation, and restructuring and insolvency.
Ricardo has acted for Portuguese and international clients across a range of sectors in commercial disputes, including shareholder disputes, construction disputes, banking disputes, contractual claims and non-contractual liability claims. He also has experience in restructuring and insolvency proceedings, advising companies, insolvency administrators and creditors on insolvency and pre-insolvency matters.
He is the author of publications on insolvency law and has spoken at conferences on the subject.
Ricardo completed postgraduate courses in commercial law at Católica Lisbon School of Law and in securities law at the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon.
In 2020, he won the Iberian Lawyer Forty under 40 award in the Insolvency & Restructuring category.
Before joining PLMJ, Ricardo was a lawyer at Linklaters and Gómez-Acebo & Pombo.
