Lawyers from PLMJ are taking part in the ‘Dialogues on Administrative Arbitration’ series

The sessions are taking place at NOVA School of Law in Lisbon.

Diogo Duarte de Campos, a partner and the head of the Public Law practice, will be speaking on the second day of the event organised by PTVYAP (Portuguese Very Young Arbitration Practitioners), the Centre for Administrative Arbitration (CAAD) and NOVA School of Law.

His presentation is part of the “A critical approach to administrative arbitration” session, which is being moderated by Luís Heleno Terrinha, a senior counsel in the Dispute Resolution practice. The session will cover the challenges, advantages and limitations of administrative arbitration. It will also address issues relating to access, transparency, and the legitimacy of this mechanism.

Luís Heleno Terrinha will also be responsible for closing the inaugural session of this series of conferences.

Against a backdrop of increasing recourse to administrative arbitration, this initiative brings together experts to discuss the main practical challenges of this field, its relationship with administrative justice, and its future prospects.
