PLMJ advises on largest real estate transaction in recent years

PLMJ advised Blackstone on its purchase of five retail properties and five logistics facilities from Espírito Santo Activos Financeiros (ESAF), the fund manager that was transferred from BES to Novo Banco. It was the American investment company’s first acquisition in Portugal in this sector. The logistics facilities will become part of the European logistics platform of Blackstone’s Logicor. With this first acquisition in the logistics sector in Portugal, Logicor, which is owned by Blackstone Real Estate Partners Europe IV, now has a portfolio with an area in excess of 825,000 square metres on the Iberian Peninsula.
