About Tiago

Tiago is an associate in the Healthcare, Life Sciences & Pharmaceuticals practice. He holds a law degree from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon.

He is director of the Biosecurity Unit of the Gulbenkian Science Institute and, before joining PLMJ, was a postdoctoral researcher at the same institute and a senior researcher at Medipolis GMP Oy in Finland.

In addition to his legal qualifications, Tiago holds a degree in applied biochemistry from the University of Porto and a PhD in biomedical sciences from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Lisbon.
