About Renata
Renata is a partner in the Corporate M&A practice.
She has focused on the Angolan market for 15 years and has extensive experience supporting companies establishing or operating in Angola.
In addition to corporate and M&A matters, Renata advises on employment law, real estate and construction, including real estate investment undertakings, regulatory law and compliance, and private investment projects. In recent years, she has worked on technical assistance projects for Angolan public bodies in the water and sanitation sector financed by the African Development Bank.
Renata completed postgraduate courses in human rights at the Faculty of Law of the University of Coimbra and in negotiation and dispute resolution at Católica Porto School of Law.
Before returning to PLMJ, she worked as an independent consultant and was a lawyer at ALC Advogados. Between 2012 and 2017, she was of counsel and a senior associate at PLMJ's partner firm in Angola.
