About Diogo

Diogo is a senior associate in the Dispute Resolution practice. He advises on civil, commercial and corporate litigation, corporate arbitration and class actions.

Since 2015, he has been a visiting lecturer at the University of Lisbon's Faculty of Law, teaching on both the undergraduate programme (including commercial and company law) and postgraduate courses. He is also a researcher at the Centre for Private Law Research.

Diogo holds a Master's degree in Civil Law from the Faculty of Law at the University of Lisbon. His thesis, which has since been published, is entitled Contribution to the Study of Clauses Conferring the Power to Unilaterally Amend a Contract (Ius Variandi Clauses). Diogo also holds postgraduate qualifications in corporate finance and energy law, both from the Faculty of Law at the University of Lisbon and Universidade Católica Portuguesa respectively.

He is the author of various legal publications.

Prior to joining PLMJ, he was a lawyer at Cuatrecasas, Gonçalves Pereira.
