Margarida Ferraz de Oliveira

About Margarida
Margarida is a senior associate in the Dispute Resolution practice and has more than 8 years' experience.
She focuses on PLMJ's insurance practice and advises on insurance regulatory matters and the underwriting and review of insurance portfolios. She also deals with claims and represents clients in arbitration and court proceedings relating to insurance coverage. In addition, she has represented clients in dispute resolution proceedings involving banking, finance and civil law since 2016.
Margarida holds a law degree from Católica Lisbon School of Law and a Master's in Law and Management from the same institution.
Before joining PLMJ, she worked as a legal adviser at the Ageas Group and as an associate at CMS Rui Pena & Arnaut in dispute resolution and arbitration, with a particular focus on banking, finance and insurance. She has been a member of AIDA Joven, an association of young insurance lawyers, since 2022.
