About Pedro

Pedro is a senior associate in the Banking and Finance and Capital Markets practices.

He has worked on many of the major recent transactions in the financial and capital markets sectors in Portugal, including securitisations, debt issuances and green bond programmes. He has been particularly active in debt trading transactions, especially NPL and REO portfolios, advising both sellers and buyers. He has extensive experience across all aspects of the debt trading market and has been involved in the securitisation of several NPL portfolios.

Pedro also has experience advising on financing transactions, including acquisition finance, project finance and restructuring finance. He regularly assists some of the largest banks, investment funds and venture capital funds and has completed a secondment at a major international bank.

He has also advised international credit institutions and financial companies on banking and financial regulation and has assisted insurance companies with M&A transactions.

Pedro completed a postgraduate course in corporate finance at the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon. He holds a law degree from NOVA School of Law and a Master's in Law and Management from NOVA School of Law and NOVA School of Business and Economics.
