About Maria Goreti

Goreti is a senior counsel in the Real Estate and Tourism practice and has 25 years' experience.

She advises investors, property developers and private individuals on a wide range of real estate transactions. Her practice covers all stages of real estate projects, including residential, commercial and tourism developments. Goreti has represented clients in a broad range of property transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, construction projects, leasing arrangements and property use agreements. She has also advised on notarial, registration and licensing matters, and on the structuring of property development projects.

She has spoken at conferences and taught postgraduate courses on tourism-related matters at Católica Lisbon School of Law and Católica Porto School of Law.

Goreti holds a law degree from Universidade Autónoma de Lisboa and completed postgraduate courses in planning and environmental law and in urban property leasing at the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon.

Before joining PLMJ, she worked at another leading Portuguese law firm.
