Intellectual Property team highlighted in the IP Stars 2026

PLMJ has once again been recognised by IP Stars for 2026.

In the individual rankings:

• The partner and head of the Intellectual Property practice, Hugo Monteiro de Queirós, has once again been recognised, retaining his “Patent Star” and “Trade Mark Star” distinctions;
• Joana Fialho Pinto, an industrial property consultant, has been recognised as a “Rising Star”;
• Senior associate Vasco Granate was once again recognised as a “Rising Star”;
• And Joana Andion, an associate in the same team, was also recognised as a “Rising Star”.

In the firm rankings, PLMJ is Tier 2 in “Trade mark disputes” and “Patent disputes”, and is also Recommended in “Copyright & related rights”.

The IP Stars recognise professionals in the sector who have been identified or recommended to the Managing IP directory as leaders in their practice area within their jurisdiction.
