PLMJ team contributes to the chapter on Portugal for the Legal 500 Comparative Guide: Competition Litigation 2026

The international guide brings together the perspectives of more than ten jurisdictions.

The comparative guide, 'Competition Litigation 2026', offers a practical overview of competition law and litigation across various jurisdictions. It includes insights into current issues affecting litigation and dispute resolution, as well as future legislative changes.

In the chapter on Portugal, the authors emphasise the rapid evolution of competition litigation in Portugal since 2020. This has been characterised by an increase in class actions and stand-alone claims. This trend is expected to extend to areas such as data protection, Big Tech, crypto-assets, and the implementation of the Digital Markets Regulation.
