Paulo Farinha Alves comments on a judgment of the Lisbon Court of Appeal on gym contracts

PLMJ partner Paulo Farinha Alves, a sports law specialist, commented on a judgment of the Lisbon Court of Appeal regarding gym loyalty contracts. According to the partner, who works in PLMJ’s litigation practice, the impact of this decision "creates a rule for the future implying that the entity can no longer use general clauses" that force customers to accept an annual subscription.
