Carla is a managing associate in the Dispute Resolution practice. She has more than 10 years’ experience focusing on civil and commercial litigation, and she also advises on business restructuring, insolvency and arbitration.
Besides her experience in complex disputes, often of a multidisciplinary nature and involving different legal systems, Carla also has experience in advising clients at the pre-litigation stage.
More recently, she has worked closely with clients in the transport sector and energy sectors, and with investment funds and finance providers.
The author of numerous publications, Carla has a master's in legal sciences from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon. She has also completed postgraduate courses in arbitration at the Faculty of Law of Universidade Nova de Lisboa and in corporate governance at the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon.
