Rita is a senior counsel in the Banking and Finance and Capital Markets practices and has more than 10 years' experience. She advises clients in the banking and financial sectors on regulatory and compliance matters.

Rita holds a master's degree in corporate legal studies from NOVA School of Law and attended an advanced postgraduate course in banking law at the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon.

Rita returned to PLMJ in 2022 after working as a lawyer in the Prudential Supervision Department of Banco de Portugal.
