Mariana Paiva
Joined PLMJ in 2015.
Senior counsel in the Employment and Labour practice.
About Mariana
Mariana is a senior counsel in the Employment and Labour practice and has more than 10 years' experience.
She focuses on employment and labour law and social security matters, and regularly advises Portuguese and multinational companies in sectors including retail, finance, electricity, the media and airlines.
She also has significant experience in employment disputes and is regularly involved in restructuring processes. She provides day-to-day advice on employment matters and regularly handles disciplinary proceedings, dismissals for just cause, collective dismissals and redundancies.
Mariana completed a postgraduate course in employment and labour law at the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon and holds an LL.M. in International Business Law from Católica Global School of Law.
