About Filipa

Filipa is a senior counsel in the Corporate M&A and Private Equity practices and has over 20 years' experience.

She focuses on corporate law, including mergers and acquisitions, and banking and finance, particularly project finance. In recent years, she has been involved in structuring and executing some of the most significant M&A transactions in Portugal, including cross-border transactions in the infrastructure, energy, industrial and technology sectors.

Filipa holds a law degree from the Faculty of Law of the University of Coimbra and began her legal career at PLMJ. She returned to the firm in 2025 after working at other law firms, including CS Associados and Uría Menéndez.

Most recently, Filipa was Head of M&A at Aon Portugal, where she was responsible for M&A and transactional liability insurance.
