PLMJ has been nominated for the 2020 edition of the European Tax Awards in the category Portugal Tax Firm of the Year. The co-head of this practice, Serena Cabrita Neto, is nominated for Tax Litigation and Disputes Practice Leader of the Year alongside other big names from the international legal profession.
PLMJ has played a prominent role in the International Tax Review’s awards over the years, having been named Portugal Tax Firm of the Year on several occasions. This nomination is further recognition of the excellence of the work done by the PLMJ’s tax practice, which has 25 lawyers and is led jointly by partners Serena Cabrita Neto and Miguel C. Reis.
Founded in 2005, the aim of the European Tax Awards is to recognise international leaders in the area of tax law that stand out most in each year for the complexity and innovation of operations they advise on. The awards cover law firms from more than 30 jurisdictions.
The winners of the 2020 edition of the European Tax Awards will be announced at 2 pm on 21 May.
